my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...

but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above

Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight

Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,

God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.

As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on

I need you here badly; you're part of my plan

There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do

And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight

God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years

because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain

Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned

But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.

I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;

but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...

that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,

then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."

And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,

knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,

just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go

When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;

I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,

remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

you meant the world to me nan and i miss you so much i think of you every day and i will never forget you

We miss you now, our hearts are sore,
As time goes by we miss you more,
Your loving smile, your gentle face,
No one can fill your vacant place.
Your touch, your smile,
Was always so tender,
Today, tomorrow,
We will always remember.
We miss you in so many ways,
We miss the things you used to say,
And when old times we do recall,
It’s then we miss you most of all.
Nothing can ever take away
The love a heart holds dear.
Fond memories linger every day
Remembrance keeps Mom near.
Looking back with memories,
Upon the path you trod,
We bless the hours we had with you,
And leave the rest with God.
Those we love we never lose,
For always they will be,
Loved, remembered, treasured,
Always in our memory.

Always in our thoughts
Forever in our hearts.

For Mom's birthday

I read the cards For ‘Mother’
and the verses bring a tear,
for the loving words are written
to those who are still here.

You always loved the cards we sent
you saved them through the years
you said they made you feel so loved,
your eyes glistening with tears.

This year when I bring flowers
in my mind your words I'll hear
"They're beautiful ... You shouldn't have!
But I love them ... thank you '

memories of a special mum at christmas

thinking of you at christmas
and wishing that you were here
to celebrate once more with us
at this special time of year

for your leaving cause such heartache
and an awful lot of pain
but your spirt shone so brightly
that god took you back again

and far away behind the stars
way up yonder in the blue
theres an angel who we're certain
looks remarkably like you

and we're sending love dear mum
just for you on christmas day
for we 'll always love and miss you
more than words could ever say

Happy Christmas mum

i
cried and watched you pass away, although i loved you dearly, i
couldn't make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working
hands at rest. God broke my heart to prove to me that he only takes the
best

To My Dear Mother in Memory

The sadness that i feel each day,
The emptiness in my heart.
Is simply because of knowing,
We must spend this life apart.

You always were my comfort,
The one to help me through,
Whenever times were difficult,
I could always depend on you.

Life without you is so hard for me,
I miss you every hour,
I miss our happy times together,
Each day just seems so sour.

There is just one small comfort,
That helps to keep me sane,
I know that when the time is right
We will meet again
